Justice Counts Implementation

On November 21-22, 2024, staff with the Council of State Governments’ Justice Counts Implementation team met with Eric Miner, Stephanie Hines, and Shimike Dodson at the Administrative Office of the Courts for its last quarter site visit of 2024. In October 2022, AOC was awarded a 3-year Justice Counts Implementation grant through the Bureau of Justice Assistance to improve court data collection and data sharing efforts in Georgia. The purpose of the November visit was to discuss Year 3 of the Justice Counts grant requirements, explore strategies, and future plans for the deployment of the Pilot Project Phase of Engagement. During the visit, staff provided an update of milestones achieved to date and brainstormed options on how the Automated Data Collection Subcommittee and Georgia can scale the project further
